The Cheshire Information Liaison Group (CILG) was formed in 1989 with the purpose of enabling the Public Authorities in Cheshire to benefit from sharing ideas on information collection, processing, analysis and interpretation. It co-ordinates data gathering and data processing activities in Cheshire for policy and development matters between the County, Districts, Police, Fire and Health Authorities and the public.
For further information please see the proposed
terms of reference.
CILG members can access their own
community forum to discuss matters related to CILG.
The CILG website is maintained by Cheshire County Council's
Research & Intelligence unit.

CILG has developed a new web system that will allow you to select local data for local people.
Local Information for Local Areas in Cheshire (LiLAC) website is a free, interactive source of statistical information on small areas across Cheshire. The site is updated regularly with demographic, social, economic and environmental data to allow users to become more informed on the key characteristics and needs of Cheshire neighbourhoods.
